Can I ask you something? (since you obviously know a lot about coloring). HOw do you make the program take into account the depth of the face into the shading?? like, for instance, so that it shades the nose and doesnt just leave it flat and ignored?

The program doesn't shade for me. I'm the one deciding how much shading to put on all the face, hair, eyes, etc. Making a nose look like it comes out of a face comes from my knowledge of what shadows on noses look like, not from the program.

Marvelous job :) I really like the stark pink hair in contrast. Nice soft shadows on the skin

Well, I understand that, but all I was asking was if there was a certain way to signal to the program the outline of the nose (for instance) in the middle of the face, or if there was a need to make several layers on the face so as to get a shading on the area of the nose. All I'm asking for is advice so I can maybe understand the program better... I'm in no way demeining your work, whiich I think is fabulous.

I didn't think you were demeaning my coloring, but I was getting the impression that you thought the program could do more than it does. If you're interested in seeing how I use layers when I color there are some tutorials on my site [link]

wow i really love this picture! i think i am gunna add it to my fav's..and break the Naruto tradition^^ great job! love the colering and everything! great job on the eyes to!!!!
